Just finished the mini series "Thirteen" starring Killing Eve's Jodie Comer. Very confronting series. She is absolutely brilliant.

Power Book II the first of 4 spin offs airs 6th of September. Cant wait.Very much worth watching
started the man in the high castle, half way through the first season, don't mind it, good concept, enjoy the characters, will persist
Flawed and doesn't improve. Watch The Plot Against America instead for alternate history drama.
how is it flawed? the plot against america has a lower imdb rating as wellFlawed and doesn't improve. Watch The Plot Against America instead for alternate history drama.

The greatest.I am on the finale of Breaking Bad.
Boy oh boy Season 4 and 5 are dark.
The last few eps have left my jaw hanging.

Eh. I enjoyed it. Though I can understand your criticism as well.I have watched it now and found it an awful show. Comer can clearly act but her character must be one of the most annoying in screen history. Natasha Little plays the same annoying mum as she did in War of the Worlds. Then you have the weak husband who leaves his beautiful girlfriend who is half his age. The pantywaist boyfriend of the sister. I finished it because I wanted to know what happened but I had it on fast forward from the middle of ep 2. The last ep was ridiculous. As if the police would allow a recently released kidnap victim of 13 years to act as bait. Then they lose her in the shopping centre and also are outrun by a transit van. The car that is hit by the van clearly ends up on its roof but in the next shot its on its side.
I got half-way through S1 of The man In The High Castle and abandoned it. I think, cos I knew there were three or four seasons, or whatever, you knew the main characters weren't going to get shot by the Gestapo or whatever. Even at that stage it looked a bit baggy. Perhaps I just didn't care enough about the characters.
It's a very slow show so if you don't like a slow burn then I'd give up now.I can't get into Better Call Saul. 3 eps in and it's doing nothing for me.
Does it get better? Should I stick with it?
