Why was the thread on the Freo board locked?

Apparently I was trolling by saying I wouldn't trade Darling for Fyfe.

They say it is obvious that Fyfe is a far superior player. I don't see it like this?!

OK. Darling is better than all 3 clearly.
Shephard and Fyfe rank along side each other. I base this on the fact Fyfe has been thrown straight into midfield because they had limited midfielders whereas Shepard has had to bide his time behind a more settled midfiled make-up. In other words you aren't going to remove Priddis/Kerr and throw shep in are you. Shephards kicking is outstanding.
Would be interesting to see if Shep was thrown in the mid from day one. He has also had to contend with injuries.

So I would go like this
Darling
Fyfe/Shep
Pitt (Who?)

Fyfe is a proven star and match winner, Shepp has not shown this yet at all with ample game time.

Actually I think you are looking for the answer of Darling and Fyfe but you didn't give that option in the poll. You only gave Darling/Shephard.

So obviously all your going to get is Darling shephard with some comments about how people think Fyfe is better than Shephard.

I have seen Shephard play some great football with limited opportunities. On the other hand I have seen Fyfe play just as well with more opportunities but play pretty ordinary as well.

For one I don't give a flying toss about pissing off the purple ****s.

For two Shephard has played in a different position with limited time. He has been sub for many games. Fyfe has been playing full game time in the mid. Bit of a difference.

*It's frustrating having to repeat myself because people are lazy post skimmers.

Don't get me wrong, I think Shep will be good and he has heaps of improvement left in him.

But Fyfe is on another level, as far as I'm concerned.
