Was thinking about this recently and the thread on the mainboard about East Freo got me thinking, which WAFL team has contributed most to our success over the journey? A breakdown of the clubs and the premiership players they have given us-

I feel like every year East Freo and Claremont have the most talent by miles. It's hard to ignore what we got from Souths in the early days though.

Over the journey, Subi or Claremont.

Currently though, I feel West Perth or Claremont. Lynch/LeCras/Darling/Strijk - fuelled our forwardline from West Perth.

East slightly ahead on numbers, South doesn't have a weak link in its five though...could flip a coin on them.

Gotta thank Perth for being absolutely terrible, gave Glass plenty of experience in 1 on 1's and pack marking/spoiling considering how much the ball goes down to defense.

You could argue the first 5 players from Claremont are as strong a contribution from any other WAFL club

As much as I hate to say it, you could really rate Souths ahead of everyone purely on the basis that John Worsfold has contributed more to this club in the way of premierships than any other player on that list, it's quite mind boggling how large a part of the WCE that he has been!

Nah as far as i'm concerned he's a South player
