Out of respect for your opinion I've added Laird and Cumming (although I dont think he would get it unless he was crap next year, new arrivals get a grace period beyond a season).
However I completely disagree that Murphy wasnt the no. 1 whipping boy - whenever he was in it was mania.
I also dont think Nicks can be the whipping boy - not because he hasnt deserved it at times but because I think it's a player's role.
Whipping boys were ones to take the fall for the mistakes of the more important person. So basically this position is the person who takes the fall for Nicks being a big dumb dummy. If Nicks is it then who is he taking the fall for?
Kinda why he's the whipping boy though! It shows how much we are improving if the whipping boy can get Brownlow votes.![]()

What if he gets less than 14 touches in games though. I recall a poster was benchmarking that as his pass / fail markThis absolutely won’t happen, you can bookmark it.

Vader will be happy thenIt won’t happen. Without Tex commanding 40% of entrees, Fog and TT will blossom and we might also decide to start hitting up small leading targets when opportunity presents. Whilst Tex has controlled the forward line, we’ve been limited to how we direct our entries.

Isaac Cumming.
No current season stats available
If nothing else, Laird has an important role occupying the place Dawson would use for stat-padding.Laird. Fits the bill - picked every week, veteran, skills can drop off a cliff. Watch for him stat padding in the back line. Love him (he's my avi) but the clock is ticking.
Leaving the laird bit aside, I agree that we've not yet seen best of Jordan Dawson. If nothing else, Laird has an important role occupying the place Dawson would use for stat-padding.
Unlike Laird, Dawson is more useful elsewhere.
O i thought it was ROB cutting of our leading lanes when he drifted forward (Drifted, lumbered, choose your adjective)My prediction is Tex’s absence will do for our forward line what Thommo’s did for our midfield. Although thommo was fully cooked, Tex isn’t, but he (and us) doesn’t have it in him to play a non-primary role. If he plays, he’s the main man and commands by far the largest share of entries. Dog and TT largely get dump kicks and everyone else is pretty much there to decoy or crumb.
When ROB said they cut off our leading lanes, he was telling the truth. We are ridiculously structured and Tex is the master of ahead of the ball movement.
