Can't believe no mention of Ryan Turnbull. Did okay against the rubbish rucks but constantly squibbed against the bigger bodies, eg. Somerville/Alessio.
One of the most highly decorated WA footballers. VFL premiership medal, 3 WAFL premiership medals ( 1 at Claremont, 2 East Perth), 2 Simpson Medals, a Sandover Medal, 3 F&Bs at the Mighty Royals and State Captain.
Undersized ruckman at 195cm also played a number of games at CHB.
I never saw him squib any contest.

From memory someone asked in the afl who were the real sh*t blokes. He mentioned lamb.

Was also asked as a straight man what was the "gayest" thing he has done. The answer was interesting...back in his all boys boarding school.days they would strip naked and sit in the shower blocks in the dark listening to the fray on thursday nights.....they called it "Darkies"

The *?

Can't believe Ash Smith has had only one poster bring him up so far. 2012 onwards he was the classic first name in the 'outs' thread. If Swiftsa wasn't playing that is.

Could we include Redden & Jetta? Their treatment on this board during 16/17 was definitely whipping boy material

Yeah much like Wellingham, copped it because of their trade before redeeming themselves. LOL this supporter base has zero patience for new recruits.

Definitely Jetta to the HBF I reckon.

Kelly would have been a new recruit whipping boy if covid didn't stuff everything up giving him an out from the Facebook masses.

Other clubs don't seem to be affected by that settling in period for new recruits. Is our gameplan that different from other clubs, or are we just not a welcoming club?

Like I get the zero patience thing, but at the same time they were pretty rubbish for at least 12 months.

We demand and expect immediate success, even to the detriment of our supporter/player relationships.

Surely Waterman gets a jumper, just for the fact that in 2018, he was listed with Masten to be dropped a total of 4672 times. Admittedly 4598 of those times was from Hungry Tiger.

Could make a Best XI too.

David Warner (still very much a first choice player, whether people like it or not)
Shane Watson (people are starting to appreciate him more now; a lot of reviews were Umpire's Call and would have been kept with rule changes since)
Shaun Marsh (underwhelming Test career nonwithstanding; good LO record)
Kim Hughes (cops way too much grief for the crying incident, his talents go unrecognised)
James Brayshaw (cops it for his commentary, but I think he's not bad and actually a good cricketing career too)
Mitch Marsh (good ODI player, gets overlooked - if only Tests, replace with Andrew McDonald. Could play)
Brad Haddin (+) (cops way too much grief for one shot in South Africa; very good player - Paine the heir apparent?)
Mick Lewis (much like Haddin, people dine out on his one outlier performance in SA; good bowler for Perth)
Bryce McGain (See: Lewis and Haddin. Good leg-spinner)
Scott Muller (remembered for 'can't bowl, can't throw', decent record in spite of this)
Shaun Tait (never gets enough credit for his excellent World Cup performances)

No doubt plenty more.
