RUMOUR 4 - RE-SIGNING OUR YOUNG TALENT

I've never really questioned Ben re-signing.Our biggest issue is the next contract a la Dixon Lynch O'Meara May Prestia Martin .They all signed at least 2 contracts with us.It's the 3rd/4th one that's the challenge when they're at their peak and looking for success.RUMOUR 4 - RE-SIGNING OUR YOUNG TALENT
So the rumour is that there is a lot of confidence internally that Ben King will put pen to paper this summer to stay with us long term on a big deal. Obviously we're going to have to offer Kingy huge money this time around and I think his signature is the most important one when it comes to retaining our young talent next year because we know he's close with Luko. I think we'll also see Touk officially sign his long term deal over the summer as well. We'll have to get going on re-signing Lukosius and Rankine next year.

Very nervous about the big three going forward.
Neither player has bought a property as yet , so total commitment not there yet.
Worried if one goes the other two will follow.
On the other side if one signs on other two will probably follow.
Outcome is massive for the club going forward or backwards.
The Swans have offered Luke Parker a two-year deal at $500,000, with the midfielder wanting a four-year contract at $700,000 per season.
Gold Coast Suns have shown interest in the 28-year-old, while there has been rumours that St Kilda are keen also.
It's understood the Suns would be unlikely to be able to afford Parker's demands, while the Saints would likely have to shed the salaries of players such as Jack Billingsand Seb Ross to be able to make a play.PLAYERCARDSTART14Jack Billings

Rory Lobb has two years remaining on a deal at Fremantle but would be keen on a move if a club was willing to offer him three or more seasons on similar money. So far there are no takers, though Gold Coast would consider him to partner Ben Kingif he was willing to accept a more substantial pay cut. If not, he will be at the Dockers in 2022.PLAYERCARDSTART34Ben King

So according to this report the AFL are keen for us to fix our footy department and Evans' answer appears to be replacing head of footy Jon Haines with Wayne Campbell and midfield coach Josh Francou with Michael Voss. Two considerable upgrades, it must be said.
If we bring in a strong name it could actually help us. Will Parker come to the Suns if we have a big name like Voss as our midfield coach? More likelyBecause our head of footy department is in the air with Haines departure. Will that hamper our potential off season moves?
