They will proberly be out there just more in a customer service/observation role than a ticket checking role. If they have to intervene they will. No, the PTV page says "remember to top up your myki." I doubt very much if the inspectors will be out and about & hopefully the gates will be open at major stations.
Melbourne is only 37 deg South.... so yeah.... also we have MUCH better weather than St petersburg, I don't know what your point is....lol @ White Night below 40 degrees latitude.
St. Petersburg yes, Melbourne no.
You can't just take any old fad and apply it anywhere you want to.
Oh I see now, I think we had a bit of confusion on the hemispherical thing.JD11 white night means twilight all night because the sun dips just below the horizon. As in bright white sky all night long.

No idea what this is but I came in thinking of "White Knight" (a guy who defends chicks on the internet in hope of attaining some poosay)
). And yes, am now sober.Couldn't think of anything worse than being in the city with thousands of drunk morons -
Last year I ended up briefly heading in after some people at a party earlier in the night suggested I come along...
I rode my bike as far as Swanston and La Trobe St, and pretty much turned around and went home. It all seemed pretty gross to me -

I'm a bit pissed off that there are lots of rawk bands and a jazz/rnb stage but not much electronic music. I'd love a DJ stage with some sort of technoish beats going on. If you're going run a 7pm - 7am event where you're asking people to avoid alcohol you're pretty much asking them to turn to other substances to get them through the night.
