its a pity about white. he has the ability to become a good player, he can set up some good forward entries, hes courageous, puts in the effort and he kicks some good long goals fairly often. if only he could do it more often, when hes on hes a weapon but when hes off hes a useless.

as much as i like him youde have to say he would be in line to be delisted soon. that said i wouldnt be surprised if another club thinks they can develop him to the next level, cause if he can they would have a good player. wouldnt be surprised to see him gone from the afl altogether either.

Nothing against White, he seems like a good bloke who is a dedicated and hard working footballer (even comes from a Richmond family I believe) but that is not enough and he's not up to it. At least not at the level football wise or up to the standard we need to set if we want to not be perennially stuck in the lower rungs of the ladder.

I think he has another year to run on his contract unfortunately. Was quickly re-signed for another 2 years last year when he was just average, nothing more.

Edwards is a level above this lot!!

Morton has a bit more ability than the others.

If you can't trade Jacko, (mcquane , thursty keep one at least for depth next year) keep for another year, hislop , etc.. must go.

looking at our position in the draft, whats available, and what we have, I would let Farmer, Nason, go, I would keep the ruckman, and chase a ruckman next year, if we get a maric or whoever I would let one of Browne/Graham go.

ive always liked him, but he just doesnt seem up to it.

Contracts need to be taken into account for delistings. Pretty sure White has a contract. Can't see us delisting and paying out contracted players when we have TFTF. Would be a slap in the face to everyone who donated.

But we are certainly getting better talent on the list as we churn the players over, All The players named above are not expected to show anything next year but will just add huge amount of depth to our list in 2 years time & Hopefully become a-graders

no theres not 6 yrs of abject mediocrity should be enough for anyone.
keep a younger dud you never know they may just suddenly click.
one thing for sure white wont go this yr, that fool cameron has him all tied up contractually along with many other duds.

nope apparently jonesy is a dud.ignore the fact he can do specific roles consistently and well (not just for a block of games but seasons on end) . ignore the fact he makes good decisions, and ignore the fact, yes he has poor kicking skills, but he is smart enough ( sheesh footy smarts something jackson is totally devoid of) he in the main only uses them within his limitations.
can find plenty of the ball and when he does its usually to the teams advantage.

I would like to see White used as a tagger. He absolutely destroyed a few HBF's this year in Yarran and some others. Although Harvey destroyed him on the weekend. Have never rated him and always been at the fore of...delist matt white, however we have others to go first.

Farmer, McGuane, GOurdis, Taylor, Moore (retired), Nason, Hislop, Hicks, Whestoff, O'Rielly

I know some of the above are rookies but these are the guys that will give us nothing going forward and probably have to go before White. Not saying White doesn't deserve to go but there are others I would cut first.
