I think he will take ladsons spot. Will he stay in the side after the All-Australians come back though? That will be interesting. I though Shoenmarkers was good as well.
He could be out for quite a while perhaps the whole season.

Isnt dangerfield too old for the RS?
Isnt dangerfield too old for the RS? whoever gets it, they deserve it, sensational round for all the young blokes of the comp.
The stats say 4 contested, 9 rebound 50's, 1 clearance, 1 i50, a fair effort for the third gamer, I saw plenty of him at Box Hill last year, and the best part of his game is his dual sidedness, which we havn't really seen yet.

Both are good efforts but Dangerfields 9 of 20 possessions contested (compared to 4 of 29), 5 inside 50's, 3 tackles (compared to 2) and 5 clearances (compared to 1) and kicking 1.1 in his 5th game. An away game would suggest it will be Dangerfield this week.
Personally I think Beams deserves the nom this week after his game against Geelong, who's midfield is the best in the game and is a 1st year player.
You should watch the Hawthorn game too ... just in the name of objectivity.
HBF playing in a wining side of a thrashing...
Fair point, however i don't think Beams really contributed as much to the pies as they didn't win,
whereas i reckon you could make an argument that Whitecross had a very positive influence on hawthorn actually winning the game, with his kicking skills, pressure and counterattack run off half back.
i would like to watch the adelaide game too and see this texas ranger kid....
Not even close turned 19 last Sunday, and had 2 games before the start of the season.
Dangerfield turned 19 last week (5th), Walker turns 19 two weeks from now (25th)
Walker will get the nod imo. He's been good all year. Dangerfield will get it next week.
Great small defender, very good with the spoil as well as with his disposal. Played on ROK last week and did a good job there as well. What a bonus to have a guy like this come into our side. Rick Ladson's position is in danger.
