There are the two stand outs in Buckley and Harvey. When they are "on" then they are clearly the best pure on ballers going around, with Crawford coming in just a shade behind them (but he is closing the gap)!
Tehn you could throw a blanket over quite a few others, if I could take my pick for an on ball brigade that I would bring to the Hawks I would probably take,

1 Voss 2 Ratten 3 Cousions 4 Haselby (big call but he looks awesome) 5 Bell 6 S.Black
7 Kelly (if fit).
I have gone mor e for what id call rover/ruck rover types than flankers or wingers thats why I dont have the likes of Camporeale/Rohan Smith/B.Johnson/Mercuri type. Not that i wouldnt take any of them if given the chance.

Yeah, I guess your right in regard to him being a Weagles supporter. Also, I agree with Pete's observation that Adkin's from Collingwood is a gonna be a future midfield star! As you can tell am a Collingwood supporter (and it may show a little bit of bias), but he truely does look good. Can't comment much on the rest! Haselby also should turn out to be a champ, good pickup for Fremantle there. Wonder if they'll keep him though?

Why wouldn't they keep him?
He's from country WA, and used to play for East Freo in the Westar league. Before the draft, he said he'd prefer to go to the Dockers than the Eagles, because Freo oval was a shorter drive than Subi! So I don't think he'd consider changing states....
Oh, unless he moves closer to Subi! Then I'm sure we'd take him off their hands....

But on the topic, Dean Kemp has been one of the best midfielders for the last decade. He's on the way out now, but I thought he was worth a mention.

Our midfeild was awesome last night. If you were picking the top ten on this weeks performance, we'd have a few....

Yes Joel i am a West Coast Eagles supporter and proud of it, but im not being biased seen as you people only watch your victorian clubs you dont see the eagles week in and week out. Cousins is awesome and without a doubt a future brownlow medallist, the only man close to cousins this year so far is buckley i agree hes pretty good. Hope your enjoying our coach we did

Hey Eagle Fan,
Im a North Supporter and I thank God everyday that Fremantle exists. They get all the best players in the league because they finish so poorly, dont give them a chance or at least the right training and then discard them to eagerly awaiting Victorian Clubs. The person in charge of losing Bell should be shot. Going by past records Haselby will get traded for some shocking player who will never play for the Dockers Senior team.

Worst 4 midfields (gotta love this):

1. Entire Adelaide midfield (and side)
2. Entire Brisbane midfield
3. Entire Carlton midfield
4. Most of St.Kilda's midfield

Unfortuneately for Spider Burton he has been playing in the twos and finishing games on the bench!!! Hopefully he is just taking some time to settle in to North's style of play. Could get anotherchance this week, with an injury to Matty Capuano. They say things happen in 3's, well Freo gave us Peter Bell and Winnie Abraham, so the odds are that either Spider or Garry Dhurrkay must come good for us.
