I like that he actually talks about the game and what the average viewer might not see or recognise (albeit in too many words).

I've listened to the 2022 grand final call on a few stations, and hands down Matty Lloyd absolutely crushed it in special comments.
And I always thought he was a dopey bastard. Every comment he made was prescient and spot on. Stood out amongst all the other stations and really surprised me.
