Opinion Who are the League's most UNDERRATED Players?

Yep, Houli is more comparable with Jetta or Hurn with his role I would say.
What I did notice when looking up the stat's, Bloody hell Gov is good. Def not underrated and for good reason.
Anyways good luck for the rest of the year and if we happen to meet in the finals let's hope it is the last week for a cracker.
Reckon WC will feature in the GF. Hopefully against us but who knows.

Hawthorn's most underrated player is James Frawley. He is actually a decent full back who can be relied upon to nullify all the big name key forwards. But most people (including many Hawthorn fans) think he is a hack. Maybe not in the Top 5 key defenders, but he is definitely one of the more reliable stoppers in the comp who has good wheels and doesn't get too many kicked on him.

He is not the most gifted player with the ball - he can make the odd blue, but he's actually used the ball a bit better than normal this season. Playing nearly every weekend has helped him. He didn't have a lot of continuity in previous years, often getting injured and missing chunks of the season.
Round 21 matchup between the underrated James Frawley and All Australian FF, Jeremy Cameron

Frawley - 4 marks, 9 spoils, 16 disposals (14 effective), 404 metres gained
Cameron - 1 mark, 1 goal, 0 behinds, 7 disposals

Tom Mitchell

Tom Mitchell is basically a clone of Patrick Cripps who everyone fawns over, yet averages more disposals, outside ball, inside 50s, triples his metres gained, kicks more goals whilst providing almost identical contested work & clearances and can handle a tag twice as good, yet gets called overrated by everyone.

That's what happens when Brisbane only appear on Melbourne FTA TV once in a season, as happened last year. Not sure about this year, but I think they've appeared no more than three times.
No its not, its because they have been hopeless the last 10 years.

For the Pies, I think Tom Langdon is very underrated. Can play small or tall (2018 finals series), is a great intercept mark and 1 on 1. Maybe his laconic style is the reason he cops the wrath of many Pie supporters. However, when he is fit and on the park, he is very important to the team. Just look at our record over the past few years when he is playing. Injured most of 2016 and 2017, but played all of 2018 and we finally play finals. Injured from round 9 and we have been struggling a little since. He is an important cog in our backline that’s for sure.

Jarryd Lyons. Has been crucial to Brisbane's rise. Does all the hard stuff, but has attacking skill and nous too. Isn't just a handball-heavy pack player (actually has a 1.50 kick-to-handball ratio this year).

The Suns delisting him at age 26 would have to be one of the most puzzling axeings of all time.

Marley Williams fits here, beats his man nearly every week, his disposal is generally good but he does make the odd mistake, which stops him being considered a truly elite small defender, but as a defender is great.

Big fan of Marley but describing his disposal as genuinely good is wrong imo. He’s gotten good at playing awithin his limitations but remains an extremely limited ball user.

Wasn’t a real delisting. Gold Coast had a contract in front of him and Brisbane offered him a much bigger deal after the trade period had finished so they did the right thing by him and let him go.
