As of right now

Some pure stats for Macrae.

He is averaging 35.78 disposals in his past 10 games.

He's had 20 games with 30+ disposals since round 1 2018, the 2nd highest being Clayton Oliver on 15.

Save the Port game last year when he didn't play the 2nd half due to injury, he hasn't had less than 20 disposals in a game since 2015(67 games).

In those 67 games, 36 were 30+ disposal games.

He's the most consistent footballer in the league IMO.

Treloar is very overrated. It’s good when he bursts out of the stoppages but when you see a game like last night where Grundy had a million hitouts but the Dogs midfield were largely on top, you realise how limited Treloar is as a pure ball-winner. Stat counts inflated massively by one-two handballs

Agree. Treloar is a good player but overrated by some. At his best a potential candidate for top ten, but since doing both hammies seems to have lost that explosive burst of pace that was his weapon and point of difference. Now plays a little more like Tom Mitchell.

From the Pies Sidebottom and probably still Pendles ahead of him. Beams too at the moment.

Although to be fair, last night was just about the worst game I’ve ever seen him play, and not really a true reflection of how good he is.

Plays nothing like Mitchell. Isn't in the same conversation for football nous and creativity in releasing players. Mitchell is a brilliant distributor by hand and rarely misses a target by foot, albeit he doesn't take on overly difficult kicks and lacks penetration.

Treloar plays at breakneck speed but lacks the poise and class of the best mids. He doesn't have the time of say a Pendles and he butchers the ball. His game will not age well.

Their stagnant possession based game style doesn’t suit him at all.
