Who do u think is in with a chance this week against the blues???

Agreed that the boys playing for werribee arent ready to play senior footy at the moment...but wot other choice is there???

Bruton could be put in to replace bandy...

Birssy wont be ready this week so ive heard...

Maybe colby or Brad murphy??? There arent too many other options

Did anyone notice how every bad kick into the forward line actually spun the same way? Sort of a half barrel floating finger breaker - different players, same outcome with the kick. Skills were terrible :(

Its hard to pick who will come up as Rohde has stated there isn't many left knocking on the door from Weribee. Maybe Bruton is a chance if Bandy is defiantely out, even if it is for just the height factor. It may give Darcy a bit more of an opportunity as a forward if Bruton took the centre bounces.... who knows.

I don't think their will be too many changes apart from injuries and returns from injuries - we just haven't got the manpower to do anyhting like that.

as if brad murphys skills are shocking!!! Do u keep ur eyes closed during the game???

How is him and the boys from the doggies meant to impress anyone when they are getting killed every week???

If brad's skills are so shocking how come he kicked 3 goals this weekend...and i should mention werribee only kicked SEVEN for the day...

Brad is a very skillful player along with the rest of the boys...they all have potential otherwise they would never have been drafted, they just havnt had the oppurtunity to play to their full potential cause they are getting their ass' belted every week and due to injurys...

RACHE If ur a suporter of the bulldogs...shut ya mouth and support the team instead of bagging them...

U never know any of the boys could get put into the team and really suprise everyone...

He may have kicked three goals. But how many of the other posessions he had did he completely stuff up??

We know that there is not much on offer at Werribee that is stating the bleeding bloody obvious.

Brad won't be playing. He needs to learnt to chase down a man with the ball, he needs to make good leads, put himself on offer.

Oh yeah he needs to show consistency. Thats why a guy off the rookie list played on the weekend before any of the listed players.

Any way, I can see Matthew Robbins coming back in, along with Matthew Croft Steve Kretiuk (if fit), then Shane Birss also if fit....once these avenues are exhausted then we will look at the Werribee boys. If any one is going to come in it will be a tall....or yeah maybe Marcus Picken

In the end nothing that is written on here determines who plays and who doesnt...there isnt any point arguing about it cause in the end its the coaches choice...I would expect that the injured players to be put in the side before any of the werribee boys but mojority of them probably arent availiable this week...

I guess everyone will find out when the team is name...

and so ive heard rohde said that he is going to play the 18 year olds...

How did we know bradleys baby would say brad murphys name.
Unlike you renee, we watch all the boys at werribee, not just brad.
Yeah he may have kicked three goals on the weekend, but he doesnt know how to chase down his man, his man got away from him to much on the weekend.
Anyway brad may get his chance early than what we would have wanted him to, but if we keep getting the injuries then we will have no choice.
Id like to see brent colbert get a game before brad, and picko would get into the team before both of them.

um ok if brad murphy gets a game this year we are stuffed the guy cant chase and he trys to take a mark from behind, he has got to learn alot before he is going to play for the dogs and i think marcus picken should be put in the side and drop nathan eaglton to the werribee reserves and robbo will be back

No mel40.

I know you go to the Werribee games because you said stuff in the Werribee thread, but the other two experts didn't.

Thanks mel, now I know why you all said the same things.

Whatever happens with selection you should be pleased if a new player debuts for your club. And if it is Brent Colbert, Brad Murphy, Nick Bruton or one of the other boys, you should congratulate and encourage them. They are representing your football club and are hopefully going to be a part of it for many years.

Brent Colbert did a few things on the weekend at Werribee that I could've had a shot at him for, but I don't think there is any need to be critical, and if he plays for the Doggies on the weekend I wish him all the best. There is no point coming on here and bagging 18 or 19 year old kids who haven't played an AFL game yet because they are still learning and developing. They will only get better with experience.

So you dont think we would congratulate and encourage them. Of course we would, they are our players and we will support whoever gets a game with the doggies. All we are saying is brad could be a lot better if he stuck with his man and chased down a player a bit more. And your right, it will come with experience.
