Brent Colbert did a few things on the weekend at Werribee that I could've had a shot at him for, but I don't think there is any need to be critical, and if he plays for the Doggies on the weekend I wish him all the best. There is no point coming on here and bagging 18 or 19 year old kids who haven't played an AFL game yet because they are still learning and developing. They will only get better with experience.

I'm very worried we have wasted a pick here. He hasn't developed as quickly as hoped. Only second year but most other drafted that year are well ahead of him.

True, there are other players such as Colby and Picko that deserve a game before Brad murphy!
Of the three listed, Murphy undoubtedly has the most talent and class, and in the long term would be the most likely to cut it at senior level. I don't understand why there's a few here who seem to want to cut him down at every opportunity - considering he was taken in the third round of a pretty weak draft barely 6 months ago, he's progressing a lot better than expected.

I think the "cutting down" Murphy has got more to do with the poster bradley's babe than Brad Murphy himself.
