And Freo didn't have Sandilands and Fyfe playing but well done to the Cats for winning.
Yeah and we didn't have Henderson or even a semblance of a small forward line people don't realize this but we are currently using the backups backup in the forward line with Cockatoo, Parfitt, McCarthy, and Gregson all out injured. While yes none are big names they have an important role to play at the club.

Geelong struggled at home against a Fremantle team who were missing Fyfe, Sandilands and Alex Pearce. Op top of that Fremantle had five players with less then 10 games experience and almost won. Geelong are not are not in the same ball park as Adelaide and Western Sydney.

When was the last time a Geelong player who wasn't named Dangerfield or Selwood got best on ground by the coaches?
When Geelong flogged Hawthorn by 15 goals 2 months ago Duncan and Henderson were best

GWS are going to get players back, two home finals and they won't **** it again like last year.
Think they will make the Big Dance but winning it is a different story.
The only thing stopping them is what happens above the shoulders when it comes to the crunch, because they have more talent than anyone else.

Port Adelaide going under the radar. GWS deserve to be favourites right now and last year was a good experience but I reckon Port will be dangerous come September as long as their talls stay injury free.
Port might want to show up against a good team first

Cats were very lucky today that Walters didn't nail the goal.
Glad you cleared that up. Good ol' lucky Geelong. Here I was thinking over the balance of the day we were pretty unlucky (losing our Captain in the opening minute, another player at half time and another player in the 3rd quarter). Hope the players know how lucky they were today
