Port, Melbourne, Sydney

Richmond, West Coast, Bulldogs

That's my thinking at the moment. Might change it next week. And the week after. And so on.
I'd put Sydney up with Geelong and Adelaide. Melbourne and Port down with the others. Port have to start beating top 8 sides, while Dees have injury concerns and a serious lack of experience. You can probably add Saints to the Dees as well. Not at their best ATM, but if they find their form, just as good as the Dees.

I think it's safe to say there's 5 teams who are real threats for the flag this year - Adelaide, Geelong, GWS, West Coast and Western Bulldogs.

Teams such as Richmond and Port Adelaide could do alright in September and are the premiership smokies.

Who do you think will win the flag this year and why?
Hahaha, West Coast, hahaha!

Agreed but add bringing their game and talents to the 'G'..... will happen just when?
We're a new club, we haven't been competitive for most of our life. We've had one game at the G in 2016 and one to come this year. Wouldn't read too much into our record at the G . Very obvious to me a lot of our guys were born to play there.

If GWS manage to get a good run with injuries late in the year I just can't see anyone beating them. There are 1 game clear now and thats after a very bad run with injuries. If their injury woes continue then like last year anyone in the 8 could just about snatch it.

If that's what you really believe, then I pity you.
We are, mate. We've got more talent across the board and are playing better footy.

We would have accounted for you earlier in the year, bar for injuries in game.

I think that Port and the Giants are the two most likely to win the flag.

If GWS were able to generate more game time into their actual B22 before their finals campaign I'd lock them in so quick.

But it honestly has to be Sydney. Funny how the best team in the competition right now is 6-7 and placed 10th.

I've thought all year it has to be GWS and i won't jump off despite the fact i don't think they are the best team. IMO GWS v Melbourne or Richmond is the most likely Grand Final and i would put a tenner on either of the Dees or Tiges getting up at the MCG. It's wide open in 2017 and while the "Blacktowners" have the best list Melbourne and Richmond are better teams. Now, Melbourne V Richmond would be great.

I've said all year it wont be us.

We are a 5-8 team, who just happened to have a great start to the year.

Showing true colours now.

I said GWS at the start of the year and now im even more convinced. They've won that many games with half a side missing...
