How are Sydney flag favourites? Let's have a look at their run of wins.

Brisbane @SCG W +54
North @ Etihad W +42
St Kilda @ Etihad W +50
Hawthorn @ SCG L -6
Bulldogs @ SCG W +46
Richmond @ MCG W +9
Essendon @ SCG W +1
Melbourne @ MCG W +35
Gold Coast @SCG W +67
GWS @ Spotless W +13
St Kilda @ SCG W +42

Melbourne and GWS were injury depleted. Essendon and Richmond choked hard. Bulldogs and St Kilda haven't been that impressive so far.

We'll know more about Sydney when they play a full strength Geelong and Adelaide away.

Right now, Adelaide have been the most impressive this year.

It's a fair point, Geelong and Adelaide away will be big tests. Their consistency has been very impressive though, to overcome a 0-6 start to the season is crazy really but if you can win 7 games in a row as well as 10 out of the last 11, that consistency screams top 4 to me. It's too bad that they already have 7 losses to their name this season and there's not much margin for error for them in order to make the top 4. They will be a dangerous floater though Sydney if they don't make the top 4. It will be interesting to see how they fare against Geelong and Adelaide away, those games will be really good preparation for the finals.

Tigers will have to come into considerations after todays win.

There really isn't anyone besides the Crows who can challenge them, and there are still questions around whether the Crows can win in Melb

GWS can't win it, and Cats still have some consistency issues.

It really just leaves Richmond as the team to beat in Sept
At this rate the Crows won't have to play in Melbourne till the Grand Final, and there is every chance they'll play another interstate team anyway. What about the Swans? I'd be much more concerned about them then Richmond. And GWS are in many ways going through what the Crows did about six weeks ago, they may just turn it around as well, so don't write them off.

Yeah I agree, they've been consistent and they've changed their game style marginally from other years which has been refreshing to see and helped them come back into the equation. They're very much a watch to see how they how handle Hawthorn, Adelaide and Geelong for me as other poster suggested the sides they have beaten in that big run are bit iffy for various reasons. That being said you can only play who you come up against so they've won most of them and you can't ask for more than that.

The Crows have been good at the MCG lately the wide ground suits them I'd say.
