How are Sydney flag favourites? Let's have a look at their run of wins.

Brisbane @SCG W +54
North @ Etihad W +42
St Kilda @ Etihad W +50
Hawthorn @ SCG L -6
Bulldogs @ SCG W +46
Richmond @ MCG W +9
Essendon @ SCG W +1
Melbourne @ MCG W +35
Gold Coast @SCG W +67
GWS @ Spotless W +13
St Kilda @ SCG W +42

Melbourne and GWS were injury depleted. Essendon and Richmond choked hard. Bulldogs and St Kilda haven't been that impressive so far.

We'll know more about Sydney when they play a full strength Geelong and Adelaide away.

Right now, Adelaide have been the most impressive this year.
No! I will not accept this radical thinking! It is impossible that the team with the most wins and best percentage could be the best team!

The offended is strong
Are you offended because I didn't type Crows?

Any side who makes the 8 is a chance to win it. Some more than others.

All things being equal, if you lined up every side currently in the 8 and they played at their best, I think Essendon's game is more likely to beat everyone else's.

I don't think Adelaide's would but I think it would beat Sydney's.

Australian Cricket Team,
Interesting perspective giving how easily we disposed of you Friday night.
-missing parfit & cockatoo for fwd 50 pressure. not to mention Mackie who more than cancels out lever, especially with years of premiership winning experience.

-Tom Stewart and SS first game back from injury- will be better for the run.

- heavyweights of dangerwood were underdone even though Selwood at least played pretty well.

and of course

21 points and you couldn't play any better.

We didn't tag Sloane, left Smith and Laird roam free and played Tuohy on a wing.

That won't happen next time.

Congrats, but I'm extremely confident we'll beat you in the finals at any venue should we happen to meet.
shut up you fool!
You predicted Geelong would thump so many teams in the preview threads only to suffer through close finishes and even losses.

You know nothing about the game except your own damn football club.
Seriously, only a fool like you would discount Adelaide in a final at the MCG.
Could not have played any worse Adelaide on Friday night and they still shit on us. Betts didn't even get a sniff.
Geelong is Dangerwood and that's it. Morons who think otherwise and pump up scrubs like Menegola, Guthrie, Motlop, Blicavs are why this club is exaggerated to be something it is not.

I'm extremely confident we will beat you no matter the venue.
and I'm extremely confident it will be a draw at any venue.

It seems we've reached an impasse.

I'm assuming you're trolling, considering you said we couldn't win at the MCG, and I provided evidence that goes against that, and you've given me nothing back.
Against Geelong you won't.

Well we were last Friday. Not a very thought though answer from you there.
Yep well done. You won't be afforded the same luxuries next time, similar to 7 weeks ago.

Adelaide beat Geelong on Friday with their much heralded forward line producing 'F** all*

Betts, Walker, Jenkins, McGovern all combinded for a total of 2 goals

Geelong got smashed by Adelaide's midfield, which has been considered the weakest part of the Crows all season

If the forwards played like they had for the rest of the season, that game becomes 10 goal win

Yep, definitely no room for improvement left in our forward line. I don't think they'll ever be able to replicate their massive 3 goal return on the weekend with 1 goal each to Walker, Jenkins and Lynch and Betts and McGovern goalless.

The ability to kick 8 consecutive behinds to finish the game will be difficult to improve upon as well.
