If I was Clarko I'd be choosing Essendon. Bigger club with more resources, a better list and gets to coach a club who regularly gets big games (ANZAC etc).

To be successful on field you need to have the right people and right structures in place off field. Essendon haven't had that in 20 years. If I was a coach I'd avoid them like the plague until a Brian Cook type steps in and makes the required changes off field.
