Who had a better discography Micheal Jackson or Madonna?

To me, MJ and Madonna are apples and oranges anyway. Whilst both share the sense of being enduring pop music giants in the 80s/90s, there is little else to really compare between the two. In terms of discography, MJ's has more quality over quantity, but Madonna has a more prolific (and arguably more adult-orientated) amount of quality in her discography. MJ will have a more enduring and easily defined role in the annals of pop culture.
