who is a SUPPORTER but not a MEMBER

in light of a post i just read on the rules thread by a guy named Olmy, and it has got me thinking.

He raised a point about how passionate melbourne supporters are and how many people are supporters and not members.

This has got me thinking. How many of u people out there ARENT MEMBERS of this footy club? i just wanna know. It seems interesting that when there is a big game on and the team is playing well all the supporters come out of the wood work to support the team, and then when they r losing all head back up to the snow (that was for the snow pimp Shinbonners. although i am still pissed off about u calling me a ski bunnie).

Our club isnt the strongest in the league, and our supporter base isnt the greatest, but it is up to the supporters of the club to change that. The club have memberships to suit every need.

Im not going to list all the catergories available because there r too many, but ring the membership hotline on 1800 336 667 or 1800 DEMONS and the club will be able to help u out no matter what. it doesnt matter how far away u live or whatever there r heaps of memberships available

The club needs your support. take that next step and become a member. they NEED U!!!

as for Olmy that was the only piece of sense written on that thread well done.

OK, I'll be honest. I have not been a member for the last few years. I am a member of the MCC, which means I got access to all the games and all finals, so there was no need. Before you all hunt me down or attack me, after reading about Melbourne's financial woes over the summer I will more than likely buy a membership for the coming season.

well dees01 you bloody well should... nah just kidding good on you i am sure that although you don't think it will help much the club will be so appriciative of it. I think that most people think that if one person (being them) doesn't get a membership it won't matter but thats exactly the problem... every membership counts and every little bit of money you give to the club will help rather you realise it or not.
I don't think there is anyone out there who can't afford a membership seeing as though melbourne's packages are amongst the cheapest in the competition.
People as dee_girl9 said get out there and buy a membership because come the time to make the bank reports you'll be surprised what a differnce our contribution will make!

I've been a member since 93. I'll always buy a membership. More fool me i guess.
