Kennedy and Roughhead are more like warhorses than elite level, game breaking players. Don't know where to rate Roughhead exactly as well, have to see him play post-achilles first.

J-Pod's like 46 years old. He's not elite now, so how is he going to make the jump in his twilight years?

Franklin was top 5 in the game in 2011. Jack Riewoldt wasn't even in the AA squad, nor considered top 50 in 2011. Franklin lead Riewoldt in pretty much ever single category per game in 2011. Lol.

You think he was 2nd to Buddy in 2011? So you think Riewoldt was better than Cloke, Petrie & Kennedy in 2011. I don't know what you're smoking.

show me where i said jack was second to buddy for last year in the context of the best fwd. again stop twisting everything to support your argument. i said he was =second on the goals ladder to point out while he was injured he still did alright.it was meant to mean he is still elite considering he was injured. it was not meant to mean he had a better year than cloke which he didn't. id argue he was on par to petrie and kennedy. you also bring up the fact that buddy beat him in all stats but you cant compare buddy to any other fwd as he playes more like a hff and will always have more stats.yes he wasnt in sheehan's top 50 but im sure if you pick 5 different people to do a top 50 all would be different.it is not the final say on whos best.yes he wasnt in the aa squad but i would argue he was close to making it. all im saying is he is elite. thats all.by the way if your going to invoke stats then didnt cd just qoute that jack was elite in his position?

and i dont smoke fella!

Most sensible post in this thread.

Just out of interest, where does Petrie rate for you guys? Close to elite based on last season? or still somewhere around average?

Roughhead basically competes with Franklin for number of times they are targeted when going inside 50. Kennedy has to compete with Lecras, Darling, Naitanui/Cox and Lynch. Until Cox and Lynch retire Kennedy will never get the ball as much as Roughhead, or any other elite key forwards actually.

Roughie is a very good footballer. Jpod really hasnt played enough afl footy and won't seeing his age.

Jk being the obvious choice.
