I
I wish. I flew down from Brisbane to attend last week at Etihad, and it was so bloody worth it.

Would kill to attend tomorrow. You dogs supporting fellas in Melbourne don't know how lucky you are.
I flew down from Brisbane for last week too. I have pencilled in a couple of 'non-negotiable' games that I have already booked accom and flights for.

Everyone, please take the day off, cancel previous engagements etc for round 9 - GWS.

I have a feeling Round 9 Will draw our biggest crowd against an interstate side this year. Fans are just waiting to give it to Griff and lots to Ward also but i still can't help that both will be weak and pull out of the game.

Being in NSW can't make it, besides it's my job around here to post excessively during and after games! You're welcome everyone :p

50/50 if I'll make it. I generally go to most Melbourne games but a few unexpected expenses popped up this week and a few mates pulled out.

My version of pay it forward:

Happy to buy a ticket for you if it gets you to the game.

I'm going with 3 mates and one of the GMs from Richmond has promised to join us for a drink if they are losing at half time so we can tell him all about it. Please let us be ahead at half time!!
(And full time :))

I don't get to the MCG much, and have never used my MCC membership - I'm currently getting tickets for me and two friends. Should I reserve a seat, and M level Roof Line or M level Open? Or just try and rock up?

Don't bother reserving a seat, there'll be plenty of room in the members. If you get there early enough you might be able to get spots on the L2 terrace.

Usually get cracking seats when I just rock up to Dogs matches at the 'G.

Sat on the balcony for the last couple of matches against the #godees. Spectacular view - not just the stadium, but the sea of thunderous faces, all repulsed by the loud Footscray fan interrupting their environment.

Awesome, thanks. Really hoping to get a spot up there. How early you reckon? And do my friends just get in with me on the day?

Probably an hour before the game starts. Can't hold seats though, so you all have to be there to collect passes. Once you get your passes you can duck off to a bar.

Away/home game. Same difference to me.:(

The last match I saw was exactly four years ago today(It's still April 9th here). We beat the Gold Coast Suns by 71 points. Rocket was still coach. *sigh* :(:(
They're all away games for me too. If the Doggies would just schedule a game at the CBR. That's only about 2 hours drive from here and they probably wouldn't get much worse a deal than they have at Etihad. Meanwhile, I'm trying to work out a trip to catch a Bulldogs game next year, the year after at the latest.
