How the F*CK is Johnstone coming last. Guy is the best kick I've ever seen. And why isnt Dal Santo in this poll also? I always thought him and Johnstone were 2 of the best kicks going around currently.

Unfortunately Stevens like most of Carltons midfield crumbles at the sign of any physical pressure. Their disposal by footy especially when someone is chasing is the worst in the competition. Gotta feel sorry for Fev. I think it will see the end of his Carlton career. Theres only so long he will put up with Stevens and co rubbish foot skills
Oh just get stuffed will ya!!!
I am so sick and tired of your pathetic attempts at voicing your opinion.
Carlton are not wimps, we do not back out of contests and we most definately do not kick the ball badly if someone is chasing us.
You only have to look at Walker's "Don't Argue" on youtube or Marc Murphy and Bryce Gibbs' tackle on Jonathan Brown, or Kade Simpson's mark in the final quarter against the Tigers.
Carlton players always put their bodies on the line and cope well under pressure.

And for the record jackass, our "weakest" or "softest" player in Houlihan knocked out one of yours, i think it was staker.

Get a life, a better view on footy, then come back here and try to post at a respectable level.:thumbsu:

No one has said Fev yet, not even you!! Why not?
Well I thought this thread was referring to midfielder types. Fev is a specialist goal-kicker, and is the best in the AFL at that. Similarly Eddie Betts is a specialist goal sneak, and is currently the best snap for goal in the AFL. Stevens is a midfielder, with brilliant footskills on both sides. He has a huge penetrating accurate kick at full pace, plus his short passes are just blistering. :)

you've got a substance abuse problem parrot, stevens kicks "skyballs" that aren't penetrating. eddie betts would be a specialist goal sneak if he manages to string some goals together one day.
fevola is a good kick for goal but lloyd is superior.
best kick in the game is buckley, both sides, followed by akermanis.
leon cameron was as good 10 years ago.

Leon Cameron was amazing, didn't seem to have a preferred foot. Was the best kick I've seen at the Dogs, although Lindsay these days might have him covered. Leon is better on opposite but Lindsays right is sublime.

I voted for Lindsay, but then again he's my favourite player, so I would :)

It's probably still Bucks until one of these other guys does it for the consistent length of time that he has.

Gilbee, Goddard and Hodge are the three closest, in terms of accuracy, distance and precision, but while they can all accurately pass the ball 50m plus, I don't know that any of them have perfected the art of the 35-40m laser pass that barely gets above head height.

That is the most dangerous weapon in the game.

Shannon Hurn by the length of Flemington. How Carlton passed him up for that unco poor mans Lance Whitnall in Josh Kennedy ill never know
It's funny-he'd easily be your best young KP forward.

And yet you still bag him-truth hurts, doesn't it?
