It's probably still Bucks until one of these other guys does it for the consistent length of time that he has.

Gilbee, Goddard and Hodge are the three closest, in terms of accuracy, distance and precision, but while they can all accurately pass the ball 50m plus, I don't know that any of them have perfected the art of the 35-40m laser pass that barely gets above head height.

That is the most dangerous weapon in the game.
You obviously need to watch Gilbee kicking out more often.

Other - Ben Johnson

3 or 4 years ago this guy was the worst kick in the league....now he is a gun kick, pinpoints targets from anywhere and even gets tagged

(can someone who has this years AFL prospectus post johnnos kicking effectiveness from the past few seasons?)

His kicking has improved, but not enough for this not to be the silliest response in the thread so far.

You obviously need to watch Gilbee kicking out more often.
Kicking in is one thing, but Buckley has made a career out of getting the ball in the midfield, turning and putting a laser onto the chest of a teammate with a tackle immediately bearing down on him.

As I said, I have still yet to see anyone be able to routinely do that like Buckley, including Gilbee, who I've seen play quite a bit.

Vinnie,

Buckley's bullet used to give me the irrits a number of years ago - he hit them too hard and too fast and team mates couldn't handle them.

Aker is my pick, both sides of the body, under pressure, on the run time and again he hits targets or kicks goals.

Regards

S. Pete

Matty Lloyd for set shot!

Brent Moloney from the Dees has one penetrating kick. Also rate Gilbee and Buckley highly as on the run/in play kicking ability.
