Best player of all time? I'm not 100 years old, but there has been plAyers that have had a phenomenal impact on the game including Gaz Snr, Blight, Polly Farmer, Doul, Coleman and 100 others.

He never gets a mention because of his off field behaviour, but Fevola was a rare talent. He kicked 623 goals from just 204 games which puts him over 3 goals per game. Of the modern day forwards only Buddy is ahead of that.

If not the 'best', but most talented Player - G Ablett snr. He was also the most mercurial.
Best Full Back - Fred Goldsmith
Best back pocket - Gavin Wanganeen
Best CHB - Glen Jackovic
Best HBF - Andrew MacLeod
Best Wingman - Keith Greig
Best Centreman - Greg Williams
Best HFF - Lance Franklin
Best CHF - Royce Hart
Best small forward - Leigh Mathews
Best FF - Tony Lockett
Best Ruckman - Gary Dempsey
Best Ruck Rover - Adam Goodes
Best Rover - Bobby Skilton

Player who got the most out of his limited talents and became a leader - Tie between Brett Kirk and Michael Tuck.

Player who most inspired his team - Ron Barassi.

* I am so old I actually watched and marvelled at the deeds of each of these players. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful national game that enables so many champs of various shapes and sizes to play and excel.
