If you had to pick the one player you were most confident about making it - who would it be?

Let's make the cutoff 1996, so those born in 1995 (Sheed, Barrass) are too old for the sake of this analysis.

I've added a poll, which is single vote. However, I'll give you my top 5:

1) Jarrod Brander
2) Daniel Venables
3) Oscar Allen
4) Liam Ryan
5) Tom Cole

Waterman and Duggan come to mind for going further than that.

If only more of those were midfielders.

In my mind they are pretty much one and the same, but I get what you're saying. I guess it's a combination of how talented they are crossed with how likely they are to make it - I suppose I'm asking who do you think will end up the best.

Petrucelle for instance has great raw potential but he doesn't crack my list because he's relatively unlikely to maximise that potential as compared to those who did make my list. I think Brander is our best prospect, followed by Venables. They will be the best two players.

I think Venables, from what I've seen has true Shuey level potential dare I say even better. But seriously this is a great mix of talent we have right now.
