Opinion Who is the unluckiest player to not yet have an AFL premiership medal?

I was really pleased that Jayden Short was able to play in the premiership side on Saturday after playing a lot of the 2017 season but missing out in the finals.

Of the current players who've had a decent number of games in the seniors, which player do you think will be most deserving to get one (hopefully next year) and why?

Jack Higgins I’d say. He was a part of our best 22 in 2018 and may have worked himself back into the best 22 this year. Was hampered with the brain condition though

Garthwaite for mine, sure he stunk it up compared to our A graders but put in the hard yards at the shitty part of the season

Kmac (I know he has one) and Ross! They’re also the only uninjured listed players that missed out on a VFL medal too

Has to be Ross because it was only a perfect storm leading to Pickett’s selection over him.

But Higgins the other. Those headaches may have been part of his form slump too. Big part of our team and camaraderie.

Stacky for me. Got sent back to the VFL, but the coaches 100% had a plan for him. IMO easily best 22.

I don't agree he left as a 29 year old and 248 games to win premierships because he thought our list wasn't good enough. He was wrong Bigtime he is not even in the same league as Richo who bled yellow and Black

The one year Higgins is in at the right end of the year, we * it up. Either side, he’s either not yet drafted or has a terribly unlucky brain injury and we win both flags.

Jack Ross unlucky to have nothing given if he was a little bit worse, and then a little bit better as Pickett was, he’d have 2, instead he has 0.

Deledio wasnt even on our list when we won a flag .
Menadue is the unlucky one IMO, always been thereabouts without cementing a spot and seemingly been a little unlucky when dropped. Albeit that he and Ellis would have plenty of discussion about sleeping with the light on.

To be fair to Deledio, he did say that Cotchin would lead us to our next flag, so he was spot on with his judgment there.

Of the options in the poll Stack is the best player and has put together the best body of work. His polling in the B&F shows that. He was also competing hard for us when the going was tough earlier in the year.
