They need to introduce a system if they play a certain amount of games then they get a medal like in the EPL

Difference is EPL it's an award for the season, AFL it's more like an award for winning the grand final.

Not that I disagree, but it's slightly different.

Chol has been in the team the last 2 years in & around the finals , played up until rd 22 in 19 & qualifying final this year !

Poor form cost him his spot but been pretty close both last 2 years in terms of being dropped around finals

I think kmac is the stiffest that he doesn’t have 3!
Surely the stiffest to not have three is Jack Graham.

Yep 100% forgot all about him haha... although he was injured so was never going to play.
Kmac got pulled out of a vfl gf to be ready for an AFL GF... then missed out in both to debut an unknown player... heartbreaking.. pretty stiff

Ross stiffer. He missed both and still hasn’t won one.

Doubt K-Mac would have cared about a VFL grand final having already won an AFL flag.

Deledio is probably the first out of everyone. Worked his behind off for Richmond year in and year out. Has enough one year and leaves without a single finals win with us his whole career. Then, an avalanche of Premierships drop on Richmond in the next 4 years. Obviously self-inflicted by leaving, but still.

From the list though, it’s probably Jack Higgins. He killed it in 2018, had the brain issue in 2019 and then missed out on being in the Premiership line-up even though he wasn’t all that bad when he was playing.
Seriously Deledio must be spewing... every time we win a premiership the blade must deeper into his heart. Poor bugger never going to live down that decision...

Deledio is the clear winner of this thread. No one goes close. Especially players who have only started their career. Higgo was unlucky with his health prognosis but he has only just started in football and would be lucky to play in one by his age.

The others are just honorable mentions.
