Higgins, Ross, Aarts, maybe Stacky in 2019?

Higgins missed out with his brain injury and injured again this year, was great in 2018 and had we not lost the prelim would of probably been a premiership player.

Stack or Ross

Aarts stuff too.

Rcd could have been selected ahead of Pickett in 19 imo

Agree. Not sure RCD would have got in 19 but Ross was definitely stiff. Aarts this year too.

Saw Rossy at the club the other day. He’s a very very solid unit now. Big upside still to come.

One that's not on the list is CJ.

Surely he would have had same game time when Soldo got injured. If he went good enough he would have cemented his spot in the 22.
We persisted with Chol for 2 games. That could have been CJ.

Wouldn’t call him unlucky though. Only has himself to blame really.

Probably Stack in 2019.
The way it all clicked for him and burst on the scene looked like he was ready for the big stage.
Had a couple off weeks and then gets injured which he rushed back and was never going to get back on the side.
If it wasn’t for injury I think he was above Pickett in the pecking order and would’ve played.

Let’s not mention how his 2020 went...

I picked Jack Ross because he was all but a certainty to play last year, even rested for the grand final but our selection team pulled the big balls moment in the history of the AFL by playing Pickett in his first senior game.

Amazing when he got named and he was in our bests.

Hopefully Ross gets a chance, more hard work on the training track and he will hopefully get his chance.

I voted Sam Lloyd because he was the most accomplished player on that list at the time of missing out. IMO he was definitely in our best 22 in 2017.

Ross has been stiff but I don't think he was actually best 22 either of the past 2 years.

I think it wasn’t for those tasty kebabs, CCJ would’ve played for us straight after Soldo got injured.
