Ken Judge for me....shocker of a coach for 2 main reasons.
1. Has a bad game plan - horribly defensive, unexciting, doesn't allow the players to be creative.
2. Poor relationship with players - is known to be far too harsh on his troops, including throwing chairs after matches. Anyone who questions whether Paul Salmon is pulling his weight after the man has just won 2 B&F is a complete joke and shouldn't be coaching at a senior level.
How much longer can he hide behind his rebuilding excuse? His poor record speaks for itself.

I guess this is an extremely unfair question. You can only work with the talent you have on the park. But on the other side of the coin, there is player management, recruiting, motivation etc. Don't think you could honestly put Ben Allen in this mix. He has no desire to coach beyond this year and was always going to be in a stand-in role. Would be unfair to vote for him.

Ken judge for me.
He can't work with what he has, and for those who say that he set Hawthorn up, I give the credit to John Turnball, who scouts over the land, not Judge.

It will be interesting to see how each person's earlier candidate has worked out.
For instance, I nominated Gary Ayres as esily the worse at the start of the season.
In fact I rated him so poorly I came satreaight out and said the guy just can't coach - at all. I also said he would be the first to go.
Well, now after 15 rounds of the new season I'm not so sure. Ayres is still there, winning games, showing some pretty good nous with the magnetic board too !
The Crows players seem to wanna 'do it for Gary' and I've even noticed some Crows fans starting to like him too !
So maybe I was way too harsh on Ayres
Worst coach at the moment ? - it varies from week to week just at the moment. Schwab and Malthouse both put in pretty ordinary performances on the weekend, but you wouldn't call them 'worst in the league' at the moment would you ?
For consistent ineptitude - I'd like to say Judge but thats not fair, the WCE have injuries galore and I still believe that Judge is very good at what he does best, which is developing young players.
Certainly Neale Daniher has plenty to thinkk about at the moment....

I always rated judge as a poor coach. I was amazed that WCE wanted him badly 2 years ago.

I thought you were a bit harsh BSA earlier in the year, you weren't alone though. Ayresy doesn't play any mind games, (unlike a previous coach) he's honest with the players and they appreciate that. His faults are that he's kind of unimaginative and he's very stubborn. Gary has made the odd good move too as you said BSA, the Richmond game was evidence of that. Overall, as a crow fan I'm happy with him.
As for the worst coach, it's easy to pinpoint Judge, but to be fair he hasn't got much to work with at the moment. But then again, no one else really stands out. Maybe Malcolm????

Umm well i think this is a hard question, especially when you haven't seen a lot of various games.
I have seen a lot of eagles games (save me) and so i'd have to say Judge. His use of interchange is quite strange at times (same as Allan) and he can't seem to get his attack right (cummings one week then wilson etc.).
I could be wrong. I'm not very strong in this area

BTW/ Have any WA's seen channel 7 news when they chat to Judge at 'Ken's Place'? The chair he sits on is like a bloody throne! It's absolutely sh|te!!

When it comes to Judge I'm sick of hearing the same excuses, injuries (a lot of injuries are caused by poor preperation of the player for the season and for games) and the 'transition phase' a young playing list etc etc. Fact of the matter is - two clubs (albeit performing average to begin with) - sent straight to the bottom of the ladder, as a result of many humiliating thrashings.
