That dud from SA, Doc Wheildon, only thing he is remembered for is getting hit by a taxi in King St when he was pisssed.

Brad Plain!!

The only claim to fame was that he cut the bottom half of the sleeves of his long sleeved jumper!

Looked like a dill, played like a dill!!

Cheers

Sandie the Doc wasn't from SA, I'm pleased to say. I think he was Victorian.

Richmond: (traded, not drafted)

Todd Menegola

North don't pick/draft duds, except:

Trent Nichols
Keenan Reynolds
Chris Groom
Bradley Plain
Damien Houlihan
Anthony Mellington
and Gary Dhurrkay

Are We Not Men
We Are DEVO

Marty Christensen (#21, Pre-Season 1992). We then delisted him at the end of the year, and re-drafted him with pick #123 in the National draft, that pick having been a trade from Geelong for Liam Pickering, Leigh Tudor and Darren Steele!

Keenan Reynolds was also a dead-set shocker in 1995.

Warwick Capper - 'his team mates didn't pass him the ball cause they were jealous of his paypacket'???? What a crock.. His shorts were just too tight, they inflated his ego and sent his head growing to mammoth proportions.

Dermot Brereton

Don't get me wrong Dermie was a great player and I was a bit of a fan of his when he was with the Hawks. But his year with the Swans in '94 was a shocker, he cost a fortune but only made the headlines for his stomping on Rayden Tallis' head and an altercation with a dog-owner on Dee Why Beach in Sydney. I think he only ended up playing 7 games or something.

Doc Wheildon was a Tasmanian wasn't he?

Our biggest dud would have to be Stephen Hooper. Injury prone and with limited ability. How he was a No.1 draft pick i'll never know.

GO THE MIGHTY DEMONS!!! :)
#24 forever!

Geelong had plenty of duds...in their first THREE years of the draft, not one player played a senior game!

As for North, we've had plenty as Devo posted earlier, although in Trent Nicols' defence, he did have one good season for us before fizzling out into nothing....and then for some strange reason, Richmond drafted him.
