Pathetic, Disgraceful, Shocking and Horrible to name a few of the ways Melbourne played!

I was at the game and I can tell you that it was a far different Melbourne team than the ones that flogged us in Round 22 last year. Farmer & Woewodin were both very flat - the only player that looked the goods were Bruce, Rigoni and Nichleson (sp). I'd like to hear what Melbourne's form on the road are.

last year it was 3 from 5 on the road this year it is 2 wins and 3 losses. those 2 wins were against adelaide and Freo. losses were against brissy, port and u guys today

Well then you've got something to look forward too next year

But you cant say just because your team played crap the Eagles won. We won because we played better, we won the midfield and we won a lot of contested balls. We had 42 tackles to your 25, so we really piled on the pressure. Bad luck for you guys though, look like no finals footy for either of us.

thanx heaps. although thats a better way of looking at it, it doesn't makus feel any better. we can pretty much kiss the finals good bye.
also, we may still have a bad yr next yr, which means that the curse (SP?) is broken, but i just don't understand how great form can go so poor so quickly! oh well, i guess there's nothing we can do but support them!
