Just wondering if anyone knows, have some of the TAC clubs let their players have a match at their local club this weekend, or are they being rested?

We'll obviously see a few in the MCC Herald Sun Shield match, but will a few have a crack at local senior grade footy?

Gippy Power have let the players decide what they want to do this weekend. Advised them if they were injured to rest but if they were up to it, to play for their local teams. I guessing most of the kids in the TAC cup would play seniors for their home team and enjoy the fun of it!

the falcons arn't letting about 15 players play at their local clubs... mainly the ones who have a regular spot and who have had a fairly solid year.. a few that are boarder line or havn't played as much are playing.. abit disapointing really. would have been good to c how they go at local level

I dont think the jets will let any of there main players play local footy this week. due to the last time there was a bye Sutcliffe played and was injured and has not returned.
I think if they wanna play they should it should be up to the player.

Seen they named them in the Reserves squad tonight, will be interesting to see if they play.

Top of the ladder side in the reserves, wouldn't have thought they'd need top ups from the Jets.

Any news on Box Hill maybe GOALden or Matty - do you know if they got permission to play some Ranges in the ressies?

Doubt you'll see many of the Knights boys playing local this weekend. They have a training run on Sunday.

To my knowledge Box Hill have topped up their 2's with some players from the Eastern Football League. The boys from Mitcham that are on Box Hills list & 1 other from Croydon I believe.

Yep, Box Hill Ressies played with only 3 on the bench, all of whom had played a full game in the EFL the day before.

A few of the Murray Bushrangers boys dropped back to their O and M clubs last weekend and I am assuming the same happened in the GV.
But, of the blokes who dropped back into the O and M, Adam Prior was among the best players for North Albury playing at chf and Sam Rowe also played in this game changing in the ruck out of a forward pocket.
Their presence certainly helped because North Albury won only its second game this season after playing in gf last year when Prior was high among their best players.
North Albury played Wang Rovers and Alipate Carlile and Carl Groth lined-up for the Rovers and didn't rate a mention among the best.
Carlile was an interesting one given he didn't play the previous week for the Bushies because of a groin injury.
Shaun Gannon lined-up for Wangaratta against Wodonga and as has been the case each time he has been available for his home club he has played well.
Are any of these blokes in serious draft calculations?

The results on the VFL site say Clifton, Dickson and Cravino played for Williamstown 2s. Those things aren't always right, but did they play and if so anyone know how they went?

Saw Xavier Ellis play. He's a talent and got stitched up in the mid-field in the first half and went off limping. Came out in the 3rd quarter, played full-forward and kicked 4 in the quarter. He's a good mover and kick and strong over-head. Needs to stack on the kilos.
I still doubt that he'll nominate this year. Just my opinion.
