Someone get rid of this clown. And I hope you're aware of the inherant contradiction in saying he has 'nous' and calling for his demise. Appartently you're a Swans fan who salivates over old tapes of the early 90's where we never looked like being a decent side. Go back to your fluro shoe laces and Ninja Turtles champ, we're living in 2006. Paul Roos is a gun coach of the highest order and Sydney is a consistently top class side. So you can RAH RAH RAH right off this and off to Rugby for all I care.

WTF? I am not calling for Roos' head, I was having a bit of a giggle because there was some talk of getting rid of him in the middle of the year. Chill out Mr October 2006.

Why would there be talk now of getting rid of Roos when he has done so much for the club? He is a legend of the club it would be stupid to get rid of him. It was a dumb suggestion mate.

What? When we'd just been smashed by St Kilda at the Dome and looked about as comfortable with our game plan as wet bag of heshion. It would of been muppets like you who were bagging Roos. As far as I know there aren't too many coaches who get booted directly after a premiership, even if they finish out of the 8 which clearly didn't happen to us. I may have come out swinging but if you're going to start a thread at least back up your statement with evidence and a reason why you feel it's relevant in the current context.

Look, the thread was a joke, a laugh. Geddit? Can you wrap your head around that? I was putting my support behind Roos and having a little dig at the baggers who plagued him throughout 2006. There was discussion, quite alot of it in fact. Some posters both here and elsewhere felt Roos was speaking in riddles, had created a tyrannical player hierarchy within the team that in turn isolated Davis when all he needed was a kiss and a cuddle. Not me, but I did listen and ponder what other said without getting cranky and likening fellow supporters to large stuffed puppets.

So what I was saying in what was obviously an incredibly p!ss poor way was let's have a bit of a giggle and say thank God for Paul Roos. And healthy debate. I have been away for a while and just felt as though the board needed a bit of a laugh. We both support the Swans and if you want to take a look through some of my old posts you WILL find I am a Choose Roos man and have been behind him 100% since.

C'mon, let's try again?

Creds for trying to start some threads but really... perhaps a little more thought & effort on the humour?

Paul Roos is a player legend... that will become a coaching legend...just felt like saying it!:D

Ps If you get lonely... see Roomies thread!... there are a couple of sacrifical blood maidens there as well!!!!!

I didn't know anyone that bagged Paul Roos in 2006 I don't know where those facts come from. Why would you bag a coach that just won a premiership? What he done with Nick Davis was the right decision and wasn't tyrannical decision, it was a team decision. It was the players that decided Nick Davis' fate not Paul Roos.

I did ;D

I bagged him because of some of the comments he made afterwards. We all know Nick Davis is a sook, so what he said didn't really come as a suprise but Roos' behaviour was out of the ordinary, for him anyway.

Anyway, i can't believe some people in here can't take a joke. It was extremely obvious he was kidding.

I love that the roomies love is being spread. A few years from now the roomies will all be co-captains, going up to lift the premiership cup. Then you can all be all so proud because you know, the roomies love like devolped here. It will be a very special moment. They're like my little babies. They're my pride and joy.
 
Alright, I'll lighten up. But I couldn't help but get firey. And the Nick Davis example was rubbish. Everyone who follows the Swans closely knows that he's a knob. I was stoked they clamped down on him for being fat and lazy, it's not what we're about.

Keep your chin up though, my humour misses most people. I've only got cold rhetoric to keep me warm at night. Keep battling, I'm sure your next thread will be hilarious.

In hindsight, i am glad it happened. There's only one part of the preliminary final this year that i enjoy watching and that's his 5 minute little outburst, he was in everything and definately got us control of the game back. Then his 3 goals in the GF.

I just hope no situations like it happen next year.
