After Today's Fadeout, heads should roll.

But i can't think of Many, the Usual Slackers did well today.. Thought Leon was very very good Today.

In: Rocca, Shackleton

Yes thats right, i'am making a push for Shackleton to be put in this week. Very good lately, in the best for the last five weeks.

That who i'd have come in, I'd drop Shaw but he is playing very well when he gets time on the ground. He has atleast 6 touches in the first 15 mins and he along with Licca kept us in it at the start today. Shaw was very peeved when he was taken off, and we didnt see him again.

Maxwell i thought did well today and does many good things that dont go down as "Stats". Presented himself well today.

Seeing as i can't think of any to be dropped lets all discuss who should go out.

He had every right to be. I thought he was playing well!

The thing that concerns me with the Pies is that they are playing very similar each week. They come out slow, have to come from behind and then fade out in the last quarter. They have done this against WC, Adelaide and North. They have been lucky to get away with it and today they got found out.

Dont think Davis was flash at all today. If you are a crumbing forward you have to kick goals! Missed an absolute sitter which, if he had ran straight at the goals instead of trying to hook it around his body from fifty he should have got. Tends to only run one way IMO!

Out: Davis
In: Rocca

Leon had one of his best games today, i think he was Playing Wing or just Half Forward roaming more up the Ground, you Cannot Judge him on one kick as he did atleast kick one. He had many more possesions in the midfield area today, but is more potent when up forward. That's my argument for him atleast.

My Point exaxtly, Shaw definately had every right to be ****ed he was playing very well, and then did not get another go.

McGough played well, but we left him on the bench for the first 10 mins of the Third quarter. I don't understand it.

I must admit I was a bit confused with some of the moves today.
For a start Presti has towled Neitz the last couple of times and he is definitely to strong for Wakes. This was proven in the opening quarter.

I didn't think Guy Richards spent enough time on the ground. Thought he was killing White with the taps.

Unlucky about the game I thought Collingwood played a good game especially with the players out. Just a question I thought Shaw played a great game against the eagles. Got 5 touches in the first qtr today then was on The bench for the most of the time after that. Does anybody know why was he injured or did he do somethink that mick didn't like or what.

Hahah, Neon had a shocker today mate. He'd racked up 8 clangers by the time he had his 11th disposal...if that's one of his best performances I recommend we bring back BK. :)

I don't understand selection policy let alone game day bench use.

Rocca hopefully will come back in but there isn't much at Willi to promote. Shak is average IMO. Haven't seen him in recent weeks so if his form warrants it I wouldn't mind him getting a game. Pretty pointless if he plays 15min though.

The way I see it we are at sudden death time. Play the best side with the best players in their best positions and see if we can win 5 or 6 in a row. If not we should try more young players like Shak and Mullins. For the Swans game we need Burns to play in the middle and Buckley and Lica on the ball most of the day. Use McGough as a clearance specialist and an extra on baller with a man short up forward. We have SFA small forwards worth a pinch of crap so why bother with them. Have a forward line of Rocca, Fraser, Cam Cloke and when he's back Tarrant and see if we can take enough grabs to win. Use Didak as the small forward and as an extra player further up the ground.

Forget Davis. We've seen enough of him to know he isn't good enough. It's all well and good to be a spark and kick a flashy goal but doing it twice every 12 quarters is not good enough. He has played 3 1/2 years and not once has he had a game where he has looked like bagging 6+ goals of having a solid 25 possessions, let alone kicking 3 regularly and getting 12 possessions. If we can get a trade for him we should take it.

Let’s play Shaw on a wing and use his pace. God knows we have bugger all pace.

Davis was pretty good yesterday. Problem is thats as good as he gets. He was a bit unlucky being disallowed goal of the day when Fraser took a dubious mark and was made to go back and kick from an impossible angle.

What really annoyed me was his slack ball handling. His snap shot from 20 metres out dead in front was pathetic. How about running straight at the goals, Leon and kicking a drop punt?

Agreed. I said a few weeks ago we have to win 3 out of 4 against Melbourne Sydney Hawthorn and Geelong.

That leaves us with 3 must-wins in the next 3 weeks to have any chance at all. After that we face Brisbane. If we are not 7 and 8 by the time we face the Lions, its game over.

Thank you MarkT. Finally someone who is prepared to come out and say it like it is. Leon's best is brilliant but the trouble is we only get to see it about 4 mins in each game. Have not seen him even threaten to explode. You look at most of the small forwards from other clubs. When they pick up the ball you think, Oh Oh this is gunna hurt us? Not with Leon.

I don't like to be negative towards the Pies but someone has to wake up down there and realise he just might not be up to it.

i thought leon was ordinary, too many clangers, too cute with the wet footy and i was disappointed with that
i was hoping he could have a big impact
a spell with willy looks likely
and IMO, it also looks likely for a few others, namely lokan maxwell and probably shaw which is stupid because he was playing pretty good leading up to being benched and not getting back on shows that MM hates him or soemthing...i dont know but i was disappointed

Who shouldn't be dropped?

The only frikking thing that is saving most players from being dropped is the fact that we have blokes like Williams, BK and Walker waiting to get into the sides showing we have no depth.

On the year, Lonie and Lokan should be gone to the magoos if they will want them.
Cole-has heart but can't kick or make decisions...go and learn in the VFL.
Davis-once again ignited us in the second Q, then did nothing at all. Learn to play 4 quarters in the VFL.

Once again my point has been proven right....FRASER can not ruck for nuts. He was absolutely bent over in the ruck when it mattered most in the last Q. great game from him in the first half and ok in the second around the ground but bent over in the ruck.

Davis wasnt bad at all yesterday, he was working hard and thats what i expect of him. If he persists with his desire to play and continuously puts in 100 per cent he will become a good player. He played more of a midfield role yesterday and was servicable in that role.

The Shaw situation, MM has ticked me off a lot this year but this did me over more than any decision of MM's this season. It is beyond comprehension to leave a productive midfielder who busts his balls every week on the bench, especially after he racked up some valuable possies in the first term. He must have done something wrong in terms of attitude or behavior, but if he was put on the bench just because, the MM has some real problems.

Richards, he should have played a lot more ruck, played awesome in the early stages, another MM blunder, crazy coaching not to give Richards more of a go.

As for who should be dropped, Lokan is the only name i offer to the table. He has earnt his blue and yellow, kfc sponsered guernsey. But...Matty is protected!

I thought Lokan was pretty good given his opportunities yesterday. That mark he took in the last quarter was full of courage.

Note - Clangers aren't just disposal errors either, they can be done for being caught with the ball and things like that. Kade Simpson on Friday night had 1 possession but 2 clangers.

Poor Kid, took him 3 games to get a Touch and now this. But big raps on the kid apparently.

Lokan, we need to kepp him on the field if we want him to have an impact, same as Shaw. Atleasdt the Attack and courage is trhere. that mark in the last was a hospital ball but he did very well. Good playy, i lauded him for that one.
