Who should be our sub?

I voted Smithers, purely because I don't young players being a sub.

It's mentally tough riding the pine not really knowing when you go on. A mature player can deal with this more.
That is why I like Jones or Smithers as sub. Smithers has more weapons.



I hate the sub, think it is stupid anyway. Would rather they just increase the bench.


But after reading about our lack of impact in the OP, maybe we do need to change this.

So Draper/Dowling. Our best two prospects in the SANFL side.

Added Schoenberg, oversight, he’d be a good sub.

Fits the bill of a ball winner that can impact and if he had to come on early we wouldn’t lose anything.

Actually he’s moved in to my no 1 choice.

I could have a hazy memory here but late in the first Showdown I swear every kick in he did came straight back in within 15-20 seconds

All but one that he kicked into the middle, we won the contest and went coast to coast for a goal. The rest, long and right and back over his head for a score or OOF. Was an embarrassing ‘impact’ performance, but the stat watchers and idiots loved it.
