Who should I support?

Which club is a bit more like west coast? Always there abouts, good culture &
Organisation. SAN Francisco?

West Coast have a good culture....wtf

Their culture was built on drugs and sweeping misbehaviour by stars players under the rug.... Steelers is the team for you.

But do you really want to choose based on likelihood of making playoffs each season? The 4 on your list all missed out this season btw;).

No guarantees in any sport but esp NFL (unless your a ******* Pats fan), way too competitive,& thats the way it should be & what the AFL is (rightly) striving for.

edit, yes I see the blatant contradiction of this post...

History though, players create their own like the Eagles did last year, very rewarding as a fan being part of that. Obviously it'd be great winning a ring every other year but I guarantee there was no Pats fan that enjoyed yesterdays win even remotely as much as your average Eagles fan did last year. Not even in the same ball park.

Ok, I think it’s the 49ers or giants....

Can I ask why Dallas isnt on your list? If it because of Jerah, well I get it;)

What are the AFL team equivalents of those 2?

not that I necessarily agree with them all but someone had a go at matching them up a while ago, looks like it's Giants for you.

Adelaide - Philadelphia Eagles. Often strong but usually struggle in the post-season. Despite that strength their fanbase still manages to overestimate them and end up disappointed time after time.
Brisbane - New England Patriots. Won some titles in the early 2000s but will always be overshadowed by more popular teams from other sports in a multiple team town.
Carlton - Dallas Cowboys. Swaggering, successful, rich. Everyone hates them.
Collingwood - Oakland Raiders. Black and white colours, notoriously hostile/feral fans.
Essendon - Washington Redskins. Big fanbase, fair amount of success, always controversial. Famous long term coach in their history.
Fremantle - San Diego Chargers. Always so much promise with so little to show for it. Based in a pretty west coast city.
Geelong - Green Bay Packers. Small town, devoted/obsessed fanbase.
GWS - Carolina Panthers. Literally no-one cares.
Gold Coast - Jacksonville Jaguars. Expansion team in a warm sunny climate with a questionably sized and questionably passionate fanbase
Hawthorn - Denver Broncos. Early expansion team with huge popularity, mostly competitive for as long as casual fans can remember.
Melbourne Demons - New York Giants. Oldest team, wear red and blue, since the 1960s nearly always disappointing.
North Melbourne - Indianapolis Colts. Two golden eras, one driven by an utterly transcendent individual. Blue and white. Spectre of reolcation in their history.
Port Adelaide - Seattle Seahawks. Newish team, newly relevant, with a notoriously loud stadium.
Richmond - Pittsburgh Steelers. Yellow and black, best years in the 1970s
Sydney - Baltimore Ravens. Relocated team built on defence with two modern titles.
St Kilda - New Orleans Saints. Called the Saints but located in a noted den of sin and iniquity, historical sucking punctuated by one championship.
West Coast - SF 49ers. Periodically successful west coast team with bottomless resources and a huge fan base.
Western Bulldogs - Cleveland Browns. Mostly obscure team from a decaying industrial area. Last won a championship in the 1950s with a team built mostly around one man (Ted Whitten and Jim Brown)

Literally no one cares...Panthers in the top 10 for attendance this year again as they have been the past 5 years?

San Diego Chargers haven't round been for a while either mate.

Cute comparisons but highly inaccurate.
