I'm gonna enjoy you melting when it happensSurprised at the support for McGrath.
I would go as far as to say it must not be him.
I don’t do “melting.”I'm gonna enjoy you melting when it happens
Just because players prefer it, doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.Wasn't there talk that plenty of players came out after the Zach situation that they prefer Andy McGrath leadership style anyway.
Personally I’d love to see McGrath who is a natural leader/mentor/professional off the field share it with the uncompromising style that Durham plays with.
Why?Surprised at the support for McGrath.

I don't know if players said that. I don't recall hearing that. I think it was just inferred by people that that was the caseWasn't there talk that plenty of players came out after the Zach situation that they prefer Andy McGrath leadership style anyway.

My sense is that he’s a Heppell style leader - easily satisfied and undemanding of the group. Which, to be fair, is all he ever knew at EFC until Zach took over. Why?
This is my read on him too. But there is a place for that, especially if the younger guys do buy into that style more. Its not what I would want but if it works for them... Which is why I am liking the idea of co-captains who are on the same page but balance each other outMy sense is that he’s a Heppell style leader - easily satisfied and undemanding of the group. Nothing I’ve seen on field from him has suggested otherwise to me.
Doesn’t the last however many years indicate that it doesn’t work though? This is my read on him too. But there is a place for that, especially if the younger guys do buy into that style more. Flags have been won with co-captains so it can definitely work. But would need to make sure synergy is just right between them so that's something only people inside the club would really knowDoesn’t the last however many years indicate that it doesn’t work though?
