As much as it hurts to say it
(as an Essendon supporter), I'm glad that the Pies, Hawks and Tigers are doing well, and I think that they'll all make the finals.
When these teams (and the Bombers of course!) are firing, footy seems so much more exciting - rather than watching interstate teams etc.
I mean no offense to interstate supporters/teams by the way, its just that the current situation reminds me of being a lad supporting the VFL.

cant see any reason why they wont....theya re playing better than so called "top 8 teams" like geelong, bulldogs, carlton, sydney..etc

yeah i think they will, and i think there will be some teams that are normally there like north etc that wont be there. i know its early in the year, but i think it is a changing of the guards and i think the pies will be there.

No they will just miss out. They are a lot better than i thought they would be but they will be the Richmond this year.

May go close to making the 8 this year. Will be a major force next year. Have many good young players this year (Lockyer, Lonie, Licuria to name a few) who will step up next year. Consistency will be the key.
