Who used EB's 7 day return policy?

Interesting today when I return AFL live to EB today, I had a chat to the store manager and she said the AFL game has been returned in great numbers and expects a lot more over the coming weeks.

I wonder what percentage of sales will end up as return and the impact this will have for future release.

personally I am returning it for a pre-order for LA Noire which I consider much better money spent...but the pros and cons has of AFL Live can be left for other threads.

So did you return the game?
and if so, what did you swap it for?

Only had 2 returned so far, which is a really low % of actual copies sold

Was expecting more TBH, as i figured some people wouldn't like it

It wont effect a future release because I am sure that Glenno can confirm this. When you return a game to EB they sell it as a pre-owned for about $10 less than the new copy.

It still counts as a unit sold as far as red ant is concerned, the only issue for Red Ant is losing sales by people buying the pre-owned copies rather than new copies.

Nah, not me. I'll get the game again though at some stage, just haven't got a whole lot of time atm.

Hopefully all the returns are from rage quitters.

The only people returning this are the ones that didn't have the patience to learn it.

Its no different to the RLL game, in that respect.

It takes a good 20 games to realise what you're up against, and then a few more to consistently win.

For me, the patch will fix what is wrong with this game.

BULLSHIT. I beat every Bigfooty player I played, most EASILY, I beat legendary AI by over 200 plus points, beat the All Stars as Gold Coast. I nailed this game, so blow me.

Games returned within the 7 day period are re-sold as new games, not pre-owned.

I played a season with Carlton and won the Grand Final by 139 points. Swept all the medals with the top 5 players in the Coleman.

That was enough motivation to take it back.
It got boring so fast I just wanted to end the season after about round 7.

Back to playing good games
