Every AFL coach has a sacking in the waiting. It is a tough business.

Yeah, we take the cake of badly handling it but same result.

Not the same result; look at North. They sacked Noble pretty cleanly once they'd decided he wasn't the guy, had a clear process in pursuit of Clarkson, and according to Clarkson EFC were never a chance because it was done badly. Clarkson also noped out of Carlton last year very quickly because they were a shitshow internally, and said he'd only go to an organisation that's got their s**t sorted out.

Look at how our organisation has been running; Worsfold's extension in to a transition plan in to an early sacking. What coach with options is sitting there going 'yep, this is the gig for me'.

North has bungled a few coaching appointments, but very clearly had their house in order for Clarkson to come onboard with the keys to the city.

Meanwhile, imagine Geelong or Sydney coming up? Every senior coach experienced or otherwise would be falling over themselves to work for either of those organisations.

both playing groups gave up on their coach. pretty much completely different groups. pretty different board too

not sure what that means. both treated badly by the players and board.

Knights probably copped his right whack, Rutten looks like he's been sacked by a rich man trying to please his daughter.

T.Watson white anted Knights for many weeks. He had his son on the inside and all his links to the various coteries and the ear of hird. Did sciavello ever pay Knighter his mill as he promised, probably not.
Truck was treated disgracefully, both got eye watering payouts which we all indirectly chipped in for. What a club.

Re Jobe, wasn’t he generally regarded as having a good relationship with Knights?
