Ourselves and the Dees have 29 flags between us. We're both the two oldest Melbourne clubs as well. Yet we've never played the Dees in a grand final. It would have happened in 1987 alright, if it wasn't for Jim Stynes running across the mark!

I don't think so, North Melbourne are the fourth oldest behind Melbourne, Geelong and Carlton. Carlton being founded in 1864 and North in 1869.

A fair few posters talk about opposition teams more than there own on the main boards. It happens

It's weird how Melbourne have never played Geelong or Carlton in a grand final, that's the three oldest clubs right there. Geelong and Carlton have only ever played each other once in a grand final too.
