IIRC MM didn't like him and he asked for a trade In 02. Fell through so he played through 03, gave us a coupla great seasons.

Both feet, hard head, smart and his skills held up under pressure.

Russell didn't make an impression.

Best Blue for us was Craig Davis.

Best blue eva for COllingwood was Swann and his mate Malthou$e - FMD that cost a good 10 years.

Malthou$e was so good he didnt need any of: Betts/Garlett/Waite/Robinson/Yarran/Walker Armfield or Jamison and added a side order of Boekhurst and Jacks(hsyte) and some spud on baller who couldnt run kick or even tackle - lets not forget the highest paid non player ayt Carlton "Daisy" Thomas .....

They have 16 premierships, so it's less embarrassing when compared to teams like St Kilda and Fremantle who have 1 between them in 158 seasons, and draughts exceeding 30 seasons.

The embarrassment comes from the constant off-season talking up by their supporters of how good they are, and how next season is going to be different, only for the inevitable egg-on-face moment in April, June or August the following season.

I don't recall many, or indeed any, St. Kilda or Fremantle supporters behaving similarly.

Fudgeebots, thats actually quite good.
Even the great man Fadge himself would have no issue with that.

Perhaps the mods (if you are watching) should lighten up a bit, ease up on the power trip and see this thread for what it is.
It is nothing but pure banter, no harm, no foul, just a group of people taking the piss out of each other, whilst eagerly waiting for the season to start.
