Broke even in centre clearances, but did far more damage from them.

Essendon overloaded at the stoppage with a focus of winning clearances around the ground and we killed them off turn over and transition.

The whole game was Essendon bombing it into Sicily, Barrass and Battle after a sloppy clearance and us killing them on the switch. The very few times they kicked a goal we had an instant reply from the centre bounce.

After the renovations, the players stand has become the hub for the traveling sides supporters.

Looks okay against a Vic club who have a decent contingent make the trip, but against an interstate club like Freo it can look a bit shit down that end.

Outside of that, the expected heat (which wasn't actually that bad in the end) early start, and a few things going on in G-Town would be my guess.

It's disappointing, but I'll judge them in round 4 against Melbourne. Really should be packing that one out with the aforementioned concerns alleviated.

We have a large bandwagon in the supporter base that will buy memberships but not turn up to games when we aren't going well. Can be up to about 20k difference
