It’s North x2 we beat them round 6 and 24Sorry it's 2 wins (North and Dogs EF) and 3 losses (Port 2x away, GC away) without Day over 12 months which is hardly concerning. Both away trips are pretty hard and Port have been our bogey team for a while now.
If you wanted to extend it to 13 months then it's 2 wins and 7 losses. That's a bit more concerning. We are a much better side though than we were 13 months ago.

So the original 'fact' was 0 and 6, but it's since been determined the actual ratio is 3 and 3 (which is better than Carlton's ratio WITH Cripps).I forgot all about that one.
So we're 3 and 3 without Day over the last 12 months. Granted it's two games against Norf.
I blame ol mate Sarah Olle for spreading misinformation! So the original 'fact' was 0 and 6, but it's since been determined the actual ratio is 3 and 3 (which is better than Carlton's ratio WITH Cripps).
Oh. Boy.
Is it?I blame ol mate Sarah Olle for spreading misinformation!
So it's 3-7 without Day since the start of last season with the only wins vs North x 2 and the Bulldogs?
Nope, and I don't really care either way. Hawks midfield got spanked without Day last night and they're already light on for talent in that area of the field. Blues midfield has far more depth. Is it?
Are you absolutely certain you've got it right this time?
Yeah, right.Blues midfield has far more depth.

Meek vs Stanley was the only reason for any sort of ascendency in the middle. Around the ground Smith and Holmes were far more influential than the Hawks mids.Something like that but don't think Day makes the team collectively miss targets.
Our midfield dominated the Cats.

Respectfully disagree with that. I thought Smith and Holmes were the best two players on the ground. Newk had some good moments but those two provided so much run and carry for the Cats, every time they went off the ground it was very noticeable, Cats looked at sea without them.Newcombe was the best mid on the ground.
Smith got tagged out by Nash in the second half.
Something like that. Hopefully the team can over come it. He is a big loss. Glad to see you’re happy about it. Shit post.So we up to 3-8 without Day now?
Ironic given you've all been hanging s*** on the Blues for having 'no depth'. Hawks seemingly can't cover 1 good player going out. Or better yet, all the Hawks fans who were celebrating Curnow going in for surgery 3 times in the off season...Something like that. Hopefully the team can over come it. He is a big loss. I haven’t seen any hawks posters celebrate any Carlton injuries? Can you prove this? Yeah day is a huge loss. Everyone knows this, yet no normal person would go out to celebrate it. So we are up to 4-15 ….. just being Carlton wins against WC and North ….. still coming …… premiershipless for the last 30 years ……. no worriesSo we up to 3-8 without Day now?
Not on this thread I cant. I also haven't celebrated Day's injury, just pointing out that the Hawks who we were told all pre season was as deep a team as there is is struggling in the absence of one player. Can't be that deep if that trend continues.I haven’t seen any hawks posters celebrate any Carlton injuries? Can you prove this? Yeah day is a huge loss. Thats why its a wait and see. Next week you've got WCE, then Richmond and the Dees who you shouldn't have too many issues with. After that we'll get to see how the Day-less midfield stacks up vs GCS, Brisbane, Pies and Dogs in the tougher part of the fixture. We were a bees dick from beating a fellow contender in Geelong. Had we kicked straight we would have won. That has nothing to do with Day.
Outside of the diabolical Port game I wouldn't say we are struggling.
Without Day I think we are 5th-8th team. Day does push the needle to get us into the leading pack.
