That brings the Grand Total to 10 (in 7 years).

Still 3 short of 13 (in 3 years).

Neither fit the bill really as match-winner performances.

S.Walsh and TDK were just as important against Port and take away Cripps quick goals to start Q4 and they win anyway.

Against Adelaide, Cripps was one of 4 Blues to get more than 30 disposals and 2 other Baggers had higher player ratings for that game which Carlton had in control for most of the 2nd half.

You just lost games where Cripps played well, playing well does not equal being a match winner.

It is abundantly clear that you didn't watch either game.

And please don't criticise others for using stats because all they show is "how busy a player is" and then start comparing Cripps to other players in a game based on disposals and player ratings. The height of hypocrisy.

Right now, Cripps is numero uno in regards to being the best player in the comp. Nick may very well pass him ( he may not also ) but the argument is for the NOW.
It's like saying Collingwood were the best in 2023 coz they won the flag - hard to argue against that.
