Points for Vs Top-8 opposition (10 games): 91.1 points per game (#1 in AFL)

Carlton were ranked #1 in the AFL for points per game against both Top-4 and Top-8 opposition in 2024. So you can ignore games against the bottom 4 and Carlton maintains a very strong offensive profile.

Because they won't be able to do it during finals (if they make it).

Richmond did the opposite during their dynasty - holding, blocking, pushing in marking contests - resulting in them giving away the most free kicks of any team during the home and away, but got away with a lot of it during the finals when the whistles are put away.
