No, it was Schoenmakers dropped chest mark that led to the Luke Ball goal I reckon. It was Daisy tackle on Rioli that was the turning point. Ripper game

You still so sure of this?To be honest, this whole thread is bizarre to me. Hawthorn and Collingwood are in totally different demographics for their team and their goals. Pies are in win now, have the list for it and are recent premiers who had a dip in form in their b2b year. Hawks are a really young team embracing a new culture and are adding side pieces to bolster. They should aim to make finals again but top 4 is certainly not a realistic goal.
Daicos needs to do less stone turning and more fitness work by the looks of things.Daicos leaves no stone unturned in preperation and thats obvious when hes playing. Sam Mitchell can only be cool dad for so long until the lack of prep and poor work ethic of his young team comes back to bite them.

30% have.surely noone is saying collingwood?
Bit of overreaction to the Collingwood loss. They fell away badly late but for 3 quarters they were very competitive against a good team and horrible inaccuracy stopped it from being closer at 3/4 time
Yeah because Collingwood had kicked 4.13 to 3/4 time. Collingwood had plenty of chances to make it much closer they just couldn't take them. Other weeks they will and they will look much better because of itGWS were a comfortable 3-4 goals up for most of the game before pulling away as the Pies fitness tanked in the last. I'm not sure I'd say they were competitive.
They should still be a strong team at the G. I think they'll get some momentum at home this weekend against Port. If the G becomes a fortress again, they'll be playing finals.Yeah because Collingwood had kicked 4.13 to 3/4 time. Geelong 2022-2024 would go close. Average finishing position about 5th.They were the oldest round one team for a long time.
I wonder what was the second oldest and how did their season pan out?
Got a feeling hawks would be a candidate
I hate that “oldest” team stat. Take Pendles and Sidebottom out and I think it’d change a fair bit. A few years back the media were going on about our average age but if you took Burgoyne and I think Gunners out we dropped significantly. They were the oldest round one team for a long time.

taking out the oldest and youngest player is probably the best way to get a better average, taking two of the oldest but keeping the youngest distorts it too much imoI hate that “oldest” team stat. Could you be any more deluded?admittedly not a good week for the GOAT, however I do not think its out of the realm of possibility Collingwood threw that game on purpose to ditch opening round going forward, furthermore what a dogshit stadium can footy never be played there again? thanks.
I swear you ain't getting heckled for breathing wrongThe exciting thing is, there's still 15 other "Who will be better in 2025? Hawthorn or _____" threads that can be made.
That's fantastic news, have a great day.I swear you ain't getting heckled for breathing wrong
Dude, just use the ignore list! That's fantastic news, have a great day.
There is enough evidence to be skeptical of the result is all im sayingCould you be any more deluded?
This works if you use some punctuation.Collingwood easy beat hawks this year.
